Here we go!!! Semana Santa officially kicks off the 2023 😊 season... and that's nice. On the program: processions and other festivities from this Friday until Sunday, April 9 inclusive. You will find the program below.
So what are your predictions for the weather to come?
Will we be victims of the tradition that during Holy Week it will be rainy, to put it mildly? Or are we finally going to break this weather curse?
Well, you'll be thrilled to hear that it looks like it's sunny and hot this year! We will therefore be able to fully enjoy the beaches and all the activities that Tarifa has to offer, without having to worry about the unpredictable weather.
The only downside: the risk of being as cramped as grains of sand on the beach. Semana Santa is equivalent to August 15 in terms of attendance in Tarifa, that is to say...
Parking spaces will become rare as well as good tables and patience will be your ally.
But don't panic, every year it's the same and everyone gets away with a banana on their lips!
Be that as it may, the season starts under the sun and the wind. We don't know about you, but we're already excited to hit the waves, enjoy the sun and party!
Speaking of parties... If you missed it last year, be on the ball this time to come and have fun every Sunday on the electro vibes of Mathieu @goldbergermusic (WIDEOPENAIR) which is going to set fire this season to the Waves Beach Club located on Los Lances beach. Tech House... only good, big sound and happy people! Launching on Sunday April 2, enough to relax after a good session on the water!
That said, the Waves Reopen from Friday 31 March... so you can already come and warm up before Sunday! And if you are addicted to Valdevaqueros, you will be happy to learn that finally, the Tangana Raise its shutters too This Friday, March 31, Yessss!
Last kid in the room (not that much!) , the group's restaurant Trocadero will open its doors on Calle Coronel Francisco Valdés, 20 from This Friday, March 31. We will of course go and have a look 😜
